Introduce myself as every seems to now know a lot more about my personal life than is necessary. So much for being able to be partly anon on these boards.
I am Amy normally know as Blackhorse on horseweb2, New rider and Saddle up. Hi to thoses whose user names I recognise.
I own 2 horses. Gaetano 15.1 chestnut Anglo arab that I complete affiliated dressage. He is generally call Git as it is easy to say/type and some times he really can be. Up till the middle of last year we were doing really well qualifing for 2 regional and 1 national dressage championship. Then he was taken ill, he was depressed, dull coat and lethargic. Git is not lethargic he is quite a sharp horse. Vets said he had raised liver enzymes and a virus. his health was monitored and by September was given the all clear to compete at the Trailblazer dressage finals, in November he was not right again. Raised liver enzymes, animiea and a virus. March he was taken ill again and he colapsed, vets run all sorts of test and appart from showing again raised liver enzymes and a virus nothing was really wrong. The vets tried to take a liver biopsey to find out what was going on. His liver had shrunk so the biopsey was useless. On the 12th of May I took him to Newmarket who performed the biopsey and more blood tests. They have given him a clean bill of health. I am about to bring him back into work and fingers crossed he will not be taken ill again. If he does he must go straight back to Newmarket for further tests.
Then there is Amicia my KWPN cross ISH. She is 2 years old.
Not much to say about her. She is a little monkey, nothing frightens her. She has helped drill her likits into the wall by biting the drill while I was using it.
