Well after a pm i relised another organisation using the board is using the shop which is wonderful, only i had opened a shop too eek, ok so dont want to be using same merchandise as everyone else, after seeing it on born frees i though yup great idea but too busy to full set it up for now.
does anyone know of any other online companies apart from cafepress.com where we could set up our own shopppy, if not then not to worry we will carry on with them but im thinking now is a good time to look at changing over as i have the account and havent started building the auctual shop items. soo any ideas?

There are a couple of companies around that are UK based, try searching Google. I would also check the cafepress forums as when I was thinking about opening a shop up there was a lot of comments about getting hit for import fees or customs tax or sumit, hence I decided not to go with them

im not sure will let you know if i find anything, so i may be being thick but do these companies post the stuff out for you etc? or would it work if we had it on the website we have let it take orders and people could step forward for the job of sending certain products out? just an idea i know its a long shot :0)

The only advice I can give Lisa is to try and find a UK or European company as the import duties and taxes charged for items from US is huge. I bought a ballgown from US for £79 and had to pay £38 import tax and handling charge on it.

Not sure if its still around but you could try the buy.at website (I think thats what it is) Or you could go for the option of making up a list of reputable UK companies that could affliate with you and get them to say "We'll donate (x) amount of money to Equine Section if you buy this product" Google Adsense would be good to get on the website as well (if freewebs allow it, sorry dont know if ES is still on freewebs or not)
