Is there any chance of a list of the rescues ?? I have been so impressed by what each of you have done, but i am a little confused from the photos we saw in France to the homes and names that they all have now ?
Could each of you possibly write the new name of your horse / s and maybe a photo with how they are getting on ? If it all stays on one thread, i might be able to keep up ;D Thanks all.

I'm never shy about showing off my two lovely girls... Maybelline (was Micheline), approx 15hh, approx 9 years roan mare, normandy cob type. She was said to be heavily in foal but I am still not sure and think it is possible she has had a foal taken off her recently rather than a new foal on the way. Still hoping she might be though..... She is an absolute sweetheart, I am sure has been someone's pet at sometime as she doesn't worry about anything you do to her. And Liberty (known as 18 month black filly), age is about right, she's around 16hh and possibly percheron/cross? Nothing known about her at all but I suspect she was bred for meat and has never been handled, she doesn't seem to fear humans at all (strangely considering the farmer who owned her beat her onto the lorry) but didn't have a clue what was expected of her. She is learning very quickly and is a complete gem.

Oh we have Honey, she was originally Aguilaquatre! She is another that has probably been well loved, she has worn my daughters cub saddle this week without any bother and I have tried her on the lunge to see if she knows anything, she went straight out into a trot and after 2 circuits popped into a canter...she was supposed to need re-backing and so far it looks like she has been backed in the past. She got a friend this week as she has been with us over 3 weeks, she loves Flo!

Of course Zorelle has to be on! My favourite photo so far: She only arrived on Tuesday but is already settling well. She doesn't jump at every sound now, is getting brave enough to walk up to things to check them out, and is well on her way in the first stages of handling. Beautiful, beautiful girl.
