super name (i did like star as my first mare was called that) but liberty is very apt all the best with her ;D

Liberty is a lovely name. Urgh, flies sound awful! Will she let you touch round that area yet? She's so pretty - think how rewarding it will be when she comes right. Put her with Maybelline to have a chat in french

For the crab flies we use a product called Versatrine here which you pour a small amount down the spine,also good for ticks.Failing that we put on a rubber glove get a handfull of vaseline grab them...they suffocate...just to make she I drop them in water too!Obviously not to be attempted until she's happy with you going round there.The horses over here are used to them....my English horses go mad when they go on them the French horses just accept it as a way of life but they do bite them!

Them flies sound horrible im pleased we dont have them here the ones we do have are annoying but these sound worse. hope you manage to get them sorted.
I think Liberty as a name is a must :0)
I hope everything goes ok keep us posted and like everyone says keep asking questions if you have any i know i will need to once my girl is in the Uk even tho she will be with liz for a bit.
