Horse transporter,
regarding ID can you help here and tell me what happens if the mare is identified but not the foal (will they need chipped or can they travel with mum & mums ID) i know in UK all foals must be passported upon reaching 6 months old but this doesnt cover getting them from france to UK.
Thank you, Lisa Carrera

Hi Jl,re the foal question,my transporter tells me they are ok if under 6 months to travel from france to uk too. re the list, all the horses are now saved that are at dept 41.I have confirmed with Lucy and there are none left, however,we are short of homes for 2 still that I am bringing back so if anybody could offer a good, permanent home where they will not be sold on,who has the experience and facilities to care for a horse that may have physical/psychological problems then please pm me with your details as they will be arriving in the uk on the 31st.Don't worry, cynics, they will just stay with me if nobody suitable can hame them!!!my husband will be so chuffed!hehe!!!

Well done everyone. At least this lot will have homes, hopefully they can generate some publicity to help others in the longer term.

Well done everyone! It warms my heart to see so many people pulling together for one aim. I sincerely hope we can make the most of this and get as much publicity as we can, Is there any update on anyon of the media taking this story up? Well I am off to collect my baby girl 'Lancia' have hardly slept thinking of her and hoping all goes well and she loads ok. Take care everyone, not long until your babies will be with you. I will try and check up on the if I can whilst I'm there today although he keeps them all over the place! Well Done and those of you that have been working so hard behind the scenes to organise this THANK YOU.

good luck morse98! how exciting. yes, well done everyone! it would be great if the medial could be there when one of the lorries is unloaded?? sounds lovely but thinking of the bigger picture, the dealer would not like the press as hes known to be grumpy at the best of times, and it would be the last time any of his stock horses would be leaving on the nice wagon. otherwise yes it would have been brilliant. shame it wouldnt work XX
