We're going to lobby our Euro MP's ... we're going to ask that basic standards of animal welfare are brought in as a matter of urgency across France - a so called civilised country - and that the rest of the EU community is brought into line as a matter of course over a negoiated period of time. These ministers are paid for by our taxes and they should damned well listen to what we have to say... and we get knocked back by them, as we no doubt will, we'll pick ourselves up and come back at them time and time again until they will listen.
For g*d's sake basic animal welfare is simple.
