Please may I also add -Tag13 confirmed this morming that there is a donkey left that needs to be saved . She is 6 and is chipped apparently. She is the bigger of the two in the picture Hopefully her filly was rehomed - don't know what happened to her, but doesn't seem to be there anymore). She is in Dept 86 and the info I saw was the horses in 86 are going to the butcher next week. www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=34&u=11209207

Hi Fiona
I am only adding the ones which are under URGENCY from the French forum, as there are so many and some are not at threat, so i didn't want to get them mixed up.

I had a look at the French site and could not see any updates on the 2 remaining Comtois, the 15 month old dun colt with blanket (in dept 41?), ( plus his companions?) there were several donkeys in dept 41, one tallish donkey stallion/jack and at least one donkey colt, a pregnant donkey mare/jenny. These are on equinesection.com Also it appears that the rather beautiful 4 year old French Trotter mare may still be looking for a home although she has been the subject of a lot of interest on the French site. She is on equinesection.com also. Modified as it is a 15 month old dun colt, not dun clot! I am not sure if she is also owned by a breeder at the moment.

Hi
Yes i cannot understand why no one has taken this trotter mare. Trotters have the most fantastic temperaments, so loving and gentle. I wish I could have her. I am certain someone will save her, she is young and beautiful.
I am unable to start threads on the French forum, so i cannot find out about those others. Someone might like to email slescalier@aol.com

Hi Andaloosa, posts crossed, I thought all of the above were urgent - the donkey in 86 is I think also due for slaughter next week. I think the ones in 41 are also due for slaughter soon?
I will see if I can see anything more on the French site to confirm.

I think you could negotiate this price down, as he has not been sold and the dealer is only threatening the butchers! Not seen a fat trotter have you??
Get someone to negotiate the price if you can. These are in euros, remember.
