www.equinesection.com/dangerlist.htmall horses in depatrment 86 have now been weighed and stamped with their weight so are in imminent danger. If anyone would like one of these horses please come forward now, we need to clear the funds for the horses asap to atleast secure them before going on the meat lorry on the 15th. Thanks, Lisa Carrera xx

Tomorrow or Wednesday is the very latest for these boys...iI have asked the owner to let me know BEFORE the meat lorry turns up but whether he will or not is anyones guess...everyone thats taken one from there so far has said they are much nicer than in the photos. The injured ones leg looks so much better this week and at the worst it will just leave a scar...he is really beautifull but I fear no one is gonna want him. They are all very friendly and calm horses.

What happens about passports, etc. and who is responsible for ensuring that all the necessary forms are completed. I presume it is up to the new owner to make sure that all the paperwork is completed and if so what is the additional cost? A friend of mine a few years ago had problems at Dover when she brought her mare back in and the horse was impounded for two weeks while they sorted it out. Cost her £15 a day on top of everything else, and that was before the days of passports. I suppose it must be easier now that everything has to have a passport! Jane N.

Passports are not a problem, we help sort that. we will be aware of which have passports which dont and will help to get this done before the movement of any equine.

So there is no additional cost, it's all included?

if the horse has no passport then the new owner must foot the bill for that, if the horse has no id papers we will ask the farmers/dealer to get their local vet to do this and put that cost on the price of the horse. Then once the Id is done we can apply for passports. We can sort out passports from this end for £30 but only if and when they are identified.
