I am soooo happy, my lovely french girl has arrived this afternoon!! She is gorgeous, she came down the ramp like a lamb and walked into her stable and started munching on her hay. She let me groom her from head to tail and her eyelids started to drop. I LOVE HER! She is skin and bone and looks so young and immature for her 3 years. ( though not 3 tilll next month). So sad that in such a short life so much has happened. I truly believe that you can tell so much from a horses eye and hers are so kind. She didn't bat an eyelid when I put a stable rug on her, but took it off shortly afterwards as she started to feel quite hot so will try with a cotton sheet if the temp drops. My thanks go out to debbie for making this all possible and bringing her into my life and to Robert who bought her over for be so lovely and kind!! I sent him home with choc chip cookies and a bottle of wine!! Piccies to follow! x
