i had a good ride today with my mum and my sister, as it wasn't too busy.
There was an event at the riding school near us so there were alot of horse trailers- we came across three on our ride.
For the first one i was slightly nervous so i got in beside my mum on the verge so she was between me and the horse trailer. It was all going fine and gift wasn't tensing up, until mums horse Sheena decided this trailer might eat her, and spun round on one side of my sister, who was behind. That left me n gift in front and gift wasn't having any of that, so around she went as well, on the other side of my sister lol
Sophie (my sis) does not like other horses near her sides when she is riding, so her face when she was squashed in the middle of 2 spinning horses was a picture- i just wish i had a camera lol
the second trailer we saw came soon after and they were fine and when the third one came they were perfect.
We had to walk down a little stretch of main-ish road, and a double decker bus came. We all pulled in and they were fine.
had a really nice canter at the end, and gift did not pull, she behaved like a little angel
On the 27th may there is a 'give it a go' day at sissons and mum and i have agreed that i can do the in-hand novice class
It isn't a proper big show, but i am still excited. It depends, though on how well gift boxes when we move her this weekend coming, as my friends mum will have to come to haconby (where the horses are being moved to) and pick gift up in her trailer. So if she is good and does not get stressed this weekend when we move them, she can go to the show
i might have lost you guys by now lol
