ok this will seem a slightly odd thing to do and will probably cause a great deal of confusion. try answering your own threads, write something that is bothering you, is great, or you have no idea of how to proceed, read it then answer it. If you are anything like me (god help you if you are) within your reply you will find your answer.

no darling ..... you are just going mad...talking to yourself and then answering yourself.
sorry ..... seriously though you are right. I often find if I write something down when I am angry, frustrated or hurt, I come back to it and see it from a different point of view - somehow more rational and less emotive. So i suppose writing it all down makes it less personal and therefore allows you to approach it on an impersonal basis.
you still on for Tuesday?

I get you Alfie! It is obvious, from reading the threads, that we mostly know what we should be doing, but sometimes are scared to do it ;D This DG is all about support though, and the knowledge and comfort that others feel the same way too xx

If to do, were as easy as to know what were good to do Then chapels had been churches and poor men's cottages, princes palaces- Shakespeare.
Good idea though!

This is so true Alfie, I do this all the time.
If I encounter a problem down the stables I often think about posting on here and compose a post in my head whilst driving home. If I think about what replies I might get I usually come up with the answers, often blindingly obvious! Of course it's always good to get different opinions on a situation but it's surprising how effective this method is.

So true Cetan, sometimes just writing it down (even in our heads) and putting our problems into a decipherable order means you kind of come up with the answers by yourself, although I'm one of those people who constantly needs assuring that I'm not alone in the way i feel about certain situations and this DG is fab for support.
Alfie, if I answered my own threads, I'd bore myself stoopid, let alone everyone else! lol!

didn't mean for you to think we should be sorting our own problems out, this place is fantastic, all i ment was its easy some times not to see the wood for the tree's and that if taking a step back we are more in tune with what we should do than we first think,i'm a prime one for this and find if i write stuff down and answer my self it helps me calm down and sort things in my head OOOPS sorry. yes boz stll on for tomorrow. looking forward to it.
