Well, I had my lesson today, no nerves whatso ever, just thought Am I bovered. He looked at the spooky area and........... never even flinched a muscle today! I had no napping whatsoever, even when my rein came off!!!!!! I hadn't done the buckle up , I was doing a 20 m circle in trot, really powering forward, it didn't even worry me! My nerves have gone!! Well thats only in the school , I still need to contact Derek Clarke for some hypnotherapy about tractors and lorries now for on the road , Never mind I am getting there!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

After reading your first thread I used the 'am I bovered' approach on Sunday when I went for a hack on the roads and it worked. Today I had the most confident ride in the field I've had for ages - looks like that confidence is flooding back to us from whereever it went!

I have also been using the 'am i bovvered' technique - works wonders. Would love to see 'lauren' on a horse riding lesson, that'd be great LOL

Way to go Staffs Mum! What an inspirational thread, it really is. Will be interested to hear how the hypnotherapy goes re tractors etc. as could use some of that myself.
Well done to both of you, no wonder you are chuffed to bits x
