Was looking forward to my ride when my buddy called (back from holiday). We're meeting up the hill from here, may canter, who knows. Gone from relaxed to heart pounding within three minutes. When the phone rang I wanted to hide under the bed. More later. This will show those of you who think I'm getting better how fragile my confidence is under challenge!

And breathe... You'll be fine Kanga, just look at what you have coped with recently. But I know what you mean, I am hoping that Bobby will be sound enough to ride again tonight or tomorrow (he seems 98% sound) and will no doubt have the pounding heart, butterfly feeling...
You and Blue give so much hope and inspiration to us - and what I really love about you is your honesty Kanga. Have a great ride, enjoy and tell us how well it went later x

I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We came to the long catering track. The other horse tried to leap forward into canter. Pulled up both horses. I trotted on in front and cantered, trotted, cantered for the rest of the way. Major, major fear addressed. Cantered in company. Unbelieveable. Thrilled beyond words. Just wanted to share with my wonderful DG friends. My buddy gave me huge congradulations which was lovely. Can't believe I got on with it after the initial blow up too, and Blue was trying to pull out of my hands, but kept his head up. Smile, smile, smile. This has been a good weekend for many of us I think.
Hope Bobby will come round Casper and thanks as always for your great support and advice.

I became so over-excited by my might feats... I climbed up the slide thing after my three year old and nearly fractured my skull on a cross brace! Still beaming. Thanks for feedback. Up, up and awaaaaaay!
Iceberg... if you have 1 million sterling plus want a horse who managed to walk into the stable wall on the way out last week... it's a deal!
