Just thought I'd post this! Had a fab hack today on the roads in beautiful sunshine ;D OH was feeling a bit nervy(only been riding for a year) so it was down to me to be super brave lol! Did lots of trotting picking a marker as to when to transition to walk, Blue was great walked at the mark even tho OH's mare trotted on a bit Also did some leg yielding across the road etc (when it was safe of course) and halting as OH kept going! At one point we were trotting on the verge & I just knew Blue wanted to canter but I was not concerned at all, in fact I was tempted to say go on then! A HUGE milk lorry passed us twice on a v narrow road in fact I could have touched the side of it & both neds were calm & collected, what stars! Had a few leaps at various noises on the way but I remained calm & Blue really listened to me & I praised him profusely! What great horses, what a great ride & I feel b****y great too ;D ;D ;D

That's great. I have a Blue and we seem to have similar rides! Leaves you glowing doesn't it. Well done you!
