I'm going to a small local show in June to do a couple of in-hand classes. It is only a small show and I'm entering mainly to see how J copes with the pressures of being on a show-ground.
I have a dark green tweed hacking jacket with a blue and red hint to it (kind of like a faint check running through the tweed). But, should I wear a stock or a tie?
I'm planning on doing a ridden class after the in-hand ones hence the jacket.

Shirt and tie, preferably a creamy coloured shirt (although white will do) and tie that isn't black, white or grey.
If your inhand classes aren't right before your ridden, you'll look very smart to wear trousers instead of jods for it.

Thanks Cubic. I've got some smart trousers all ready. Changing trousers for Jods isn't a problem, but I didn't want to have to change my short.

I was thinking about a blue tie - what do you think? My hat is blue and there is blue running through my jacket. J usually has a blue numnah and headcollar which looks quite nice on him.
Oh dear, I'm only doing a little local show! Lord knows what I'd be like if it was anything bigger! lol! I'm quite excited,, it'll be the first show I've done for about 10 years.

Blue will be fine, as long as you're not showing in the blue numnah and headcoller
