Grrrrrrrr...sonks and I went clear in a clear round class (only did clear round, to start off the season!). And they had no rosettes left I got 50p back...but I'd rather have a rosette....I brought sonks some polos with my prize money though ;D We had a few very Arabby moments, which consisted of dragon snorting, buckiong, rearing, going backwards, sideways....dressagers look out!!! and wanting to zoom forwards... Just had to pull him up after every jump hehe but I think he enjoyed it...just gutted about no prize!

It might have been nicer is the show had sent you one on - nobody does shows for the money - it is that little piece of ribbon that keeps us all going.
Yesterday I won a cup - great you would think but I was allowed to have my photograph taken with it, but not allowed to take it home - they engrave it and you can go and see it in the Trophy tent - not quite the same as taking it home to show everyone is it?

hmmm that really bugs me, they could at least give a replica or something that you can actually keep.

I agree Amelia, one of my babies won 3 cups in two years at Windsor-------emulating his Mum, and all we got was a photo. I realise the cups there are too valuable to take home but a memento would be nice You should have asked for a rossy to be sent on Miranda, that's really mean

my friend went to a big dressage show in the borders last year and they ran out of rosettes for her class (she was 3rd..how do you run out of rosettes??) anyway she asked if they would send one on, and they said had she been a member of the riding club, they would have but since she's not, it would be cost them too much in admin to send one on....How mean can you get? never mind the fact that she'd been up at crack o dawn, and travelled for over an hour to get there, done a really nice test and for what??
