Local shows if we ever get transport
Welsh 12.2 and 8 yr old daughter, would do lead rein and m & m and possible first ridden if not lead rein. She has a navy jacket with navy tie, cream/lemon jods with jod clips, navy hat and brown or black jod boots
New Forest 13.3 and me or daughter, same classes as above and possibly family/handy pony, riding club etc. I have no showing togs left! But do have long leather boots, navy hat, beige jods, could rustle up a shirt and tie. Do i need a tweed/hacking jacket or navy? I showed my old horse for eons with a navy jacket but seen a lot of posts recently that say it should be tweed? Must admit i was never picked up on it even worn with a white stock at Windsor - LOL

I think for adults it should be tweed for Hunters, and Mountain and Moorland. Black jacket for Riding Horse, Hack. But it doesn't matter THAT much. Just general neatness and cleanliness and overall impression.
The only thing to steer clear of is funny colours and coloured breeches.

Ahh see pip, thats why i always got away with me navy jacket then, never did hunters, we did riding horse, riding club horse, best turnout, best rider, condition etc etc, ahh those were the days *settles back in rocker with fond memories* So i'll have to invest in a tweed jacket then if we ever get to go to a party.
