I see the Lambourn carnival horse show is on in June and I was thinking it would be a nice idea to take my youngster along to get him used to it all. Trouble is, we don't have any transport. Does anyone around the Chieveley area fancy going for fun, and perhaps we could hire a trailer or box or something? A long shot I know but thought I'd try!

How long would you want to be there for? Would you be doing a class and if so what time would that be?

The in-hand showing starts at 1 and there is a class for large mountain and moorland which would be the only one I'd enter if any...it's the 6th and last class in the in-hand section. But to be honest I don't know how he is going to react to a show so it's probably a good idea to just go for an hour or so and walk around the ground for fun. so it wouldn't matter what time really.

Just another thought - there is a show at Ridgeway Farm, Chilton, Nr Didcot next Sunday 21st May which would be very close to Chievely - lots of in hand classes.

hee hee - looking forward to seeing them! Just want to say a HUGE thank you to Sandra and Daisy, Lou and Tim for all your help and support yesterday. Bran and I really enjoyed ourselves, and I never dreamt we would win anything! Just to let you know Brannock attended his first show and managed to bag 2nd place in the youngstock class! He was such a good boy and took it all in his stride. Thanks to you all again, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you!
