Hi All Sorry i havent been on here for ages everything just a bit mad. I had to come on and tell you all about my first cross country on sunday it was wonderful!! last year i bought the wonderful Marmite after selling my dear tb after falling pregnant, i wasnt going to have another horse then my friend was selling this beautiful boy that i decided to buy, we won the dressage tourn a our yard and i thought thats it going to affiliate him, ;D but then on sunday there was a tiny(1'9) cross country on 15 mins away so i thought i would give it a go, have jumped him a bit before.only in the school tho! Well to cut a long story short he was just wonderful, didnt bat an eylid any anything, was a bit strong but he jumped everything and we came 2ND!!!! Cant wait now to do more, doing a mini event challenge in may so now just decided to have fun, i had forgotten a bit what that was like so now bring it on!! ;D ;D Sorry to go on

Oh, i want a mini cross country course near me! I love xc but only if they are tiny ones that i dont have to close my eyes for - LOl - Well done Marmite, still think he has the most fabby name !

Well done! I had a lesson with Becky today and she was telling me how Marmite can turn his hoof to practically anything. Great to hear that you enjoyed the cross country, and congrats on coming 2nd.
I rode Marmite for my lesson - he is so bouncy after my long striding TB, but a lovely lad. When he hangs his ears out sideways and concentrates on what you are asking it's really fab, isn't it?
Anyway - congratulations on having such a lovely boy. He is rather special, and despite having always been a huge fan of leggy TBs (which is why Becky made me ride Marmite - she wanted me to have a different experience) I am now quite smitten with your Marmite. ;D
