I have ridden all of the prelim tests, apart from the newer ones. I was confused about a bit in prelim 1 (which i have entered for). I've not seen it ridden and wont get chance to.
It says 8. KB Change the rein in a free walk on a long rein BH Change the rein in a free walk on a long rein HC Medium Walk
So - my question is, if i free walk to B from K, how do i change direction to H? Do i do a smooth curve? But then i wont be precisely at B will i? And in free walk i cant just about turn and head the other way? help?

Hi, you ride the short diagonals in free walk on a long rein K to B to H. So so ride the first part which is K to B on getting to the track look over to H and ride From where you are at B over to H Its like riding a sideways V shape.
On getting to H gather you reins and proceed at medium walk.
Thats the easiest i can explain how to ride it in written form. If your still having troubles PM me and i can try to send you the test in diagram form.
