Hello I have made the exciting decision to send my Sidney away for a holiday (OK, for him it will be more like Boot Camp but I am telling him it's a holiday) at a local natural horse trainers yard. Any recommendations for transporters in Kent? I would prefer a box but my boy will travel in a trailer no problem. All suggestions very gratefully received! I will go through the free ads but would prefer to find someone who is recommended. Needed for Bank Hol Monday from Borough Green to Goudhurst (18 miles) and then back again in 2 weeks time. Thanks for reading!

You could try John Parker in Hythe - not sure if they do short distance work but worth a go! They come extremely highly recommended and are transporting my boy to France. They have a website if you do a google search.

Thanks so much everyone. I've found someone who may be able to do it who were also recommended, so I'll give them a call if they can't.
No worries Suzie, I completely understand - know how treasured those breaks are!
Yes, Lizzypeg, Sid is going to Jason's. He was recommended to me and I was impressed by his relaxed attitude - popped down to see him on Monday night and he made me feel confident in him without actually doing anything, if you know what I mean! What was your pony there for? I'd love to hear more.
Sid is going to Jason as he naps (inconsistently). One minute he will be very relaxed, forward going and happy and the next....Chaos City!! It's got to the stage where he's just too dangerous to ride, and I'm sure that I'm not helping Sid at all. As Jason said, he's got to get confidence in me and I've got to have confidence in him. So I am very excited about it and looking forward to hopefully have some fun with him again.
