Thanks, we would like to stay in the Wakefield/Pontefract/Ackworth area because of work but could maybe go a tiny bit further out, as we currently live in purston.

search the yorkshire post website - would expect most properties with land to be in that.

Well ...... what a coincidence... I have just left featherstone high school (now "technology college!" lol) and my mum works there full time as an ICT teacher!! Never actually thought of asking in equitack - thats a good idea... I might give them a ring today, and bridleways, I am also going to have a look on Yorkshire Post website, I have been looking on some estate agents websites and recieving emails when new properties come up for ages now but nothing seems to really fit the bill,... either too expensive or too far away lol! Thank you guys!

Have to say good luck Stef, we've been looking for a long time now but nothing is around or the prices are massive. We don't mind a 2 bed but need 2 acres as well. We are on a number of Estate agents lists but most properties with land seem to sell before they are even marketed.
