how often do you think a horse should be Checked

Harveys checked twice a day-couldnt trust him to stay out of trouble for a whole day by himself! lol
Plus i like his company, always nice to have a chat to him and know he wont answer back or judge me (or at least he wont if i keep the carrots coming)

we check them twice a day! either me my dad or my sister (or all of us!)but will spend as much time as poss with them!
there is some1 living on the yard so we would be told if there was any problem.
but there r ppl on our yard that dont come dwn 4 weeks, we had to inform a lady the other week that her horse had switch itch to the point that she has no mane and patches where shes rubbed skin off! (she didnt even no )

twice a day without fail - or you ask/pay someone else to do it if your life style doesn't allow for this. Or if you are ill.

I couldn't live with myself if they weren't checked - I worry even checking them twice a day that they might have hurt themselves between times!!! WHen I first had old pony at home I used to get up in the wee small hours and stand in the living room in my pj's and shine a torch into the stable to see if he was ok!!! That's taking it a bit too far!! He used to get really annoyed with the light as well - oops

I go once a day as I have a fantastic yo who checks a couple of times a day and is on the phone should she be concerned in any way. If I didnt have her I would go morning and evening.

Definately at least twice a day........mine live at home so I'm lucky and can check them whenever I want which is normally 3 - 4 times. I usually do a late night check just before I go to bed.

At least twice a day. Doesn't matter if it is the owner or the YO/yard staff though.
A certain person I know who claims to be an experienced owner checks hers about 3 times a week. I had the dubious privalige of sharing a field with her at one time so I ended up checking her horses twice a day then she got narked at me because I noticed on had a cough and she didn't notice and/or care.

Once a day at least, i go see mine once a day but the yo is ther all day
