Hi I am starting to be asked to help people with their horses at a yard where I keep my horse, I need to have freelance instructor insurance - can anyone recomend one - cheapest. I'm mainly doing ground work - and very little ridden at the moment. Thanks

Yup - get the BHSAI (in fact BHSPtt and Stage 3) - and go on the BHS Register of Instructors. It's about £120 a year.

If you want insurance before you reach your AI, or you are taking an alternative route other than BHS, try Shearwater. They're the cheapest I've found and tailor the insurance to meet your needs.
