Hi, My horse had a yeast infection in the base of his mane and tail, the vet gave me some special shampoo which I used daily for a week, got rid of the infection. The trouble is after about 5 days the yeast infection comes back, anyone know of any feed or herb I can give to combat it Thanks

Liquid Garlic in spray form. Spray directly to the infection. It will keep the flies away too!!

feed garlic & a good coat & hide suppliment. Treat with tea tree oil from the chemist. i would use it neat & regular. The yeast infection will come back if the skin is not in tip top condition(from the inside to out). the other thing is did you use the fungisidal shampoo on all of your grooming kit each day to prevent re-infection?
