I've been told that Copra is really good for feeding horses but I've searched the net and can't see where to buy it. Has anyone got any tips on where I can get it from?

As far as i am aware no-one sells it commercially. A) because it is so high in theobromine any horse eating it would fail an fei dope test. and B) because as it is a by product of cocunut oil production it is not something horses would naturally eat. In this country it is principally imported to burn as bio fuel in power stations. Some, albeit very few, companies use it in cattle feed. but that is becoming more unusual.

If it was that good do you not think the commercial feed companies would be using it? ?? I can lay my hands on thousands of tonnes of the stuff but I dont use it.! That tell you something

Boomerang Stables at Crooked Soley sell this as feed. They are on the Wiltshire/Berkshire border.
