My pony has been wearing a fly rug on and off most of the summer, over the last week she has developed little lumps on her shoulder, which are like little scabs that come off easily when touched. They don't seem to cause her any trouble but obviously I would like to get rid of them do you have any ideas what they would be?

Hiya Could it be an alergic reaction (hives) to something ? Molly gets this type of reaction to the flu jab and many wormers and it makes her all lumpy but not with scabs on really Otherwise maybe they are heat lumps which have rubbed on the fly sheet and taken the tops off causing them to scab Just an idea
