new forum is fab, just one point though
given the idea behind IH and that it is primarily training and handling horses, why isn't there a separate section for traiing and handling/behaviour problems?
Be really nice to have a separate section and stop the health etc one getting over burdened.
well done anyway, fab job

And how many different emotions is that then Francis !! lol
I think you can suggest new catagories if you want to although i may take some time to find where ! If I don't come back, could you send out the troops to look for me ??

Lorraine L - Did you have any luck or do we need to send out a search party? ;D

Is there a demand for a training/behaviour section? Maybe not!

Where is it? there isn't one. Personally I'd rather no more sections. In fact, I'd like the health and general ones combined to just be "Horse discussion". One thing I get fed up of on other forums is too many sections.

KAS - I agree, and I think having lots of different sections contributes to the "fiddly" look-and-feel of the new board format. Having a single "Horse discussion" would be ideal in my opinion. How likely is that to happen though? Not very, I guess. So assuming there isn't going to be a new "Training and behaviour" section created, under which of the existing headings should discussions of training and behaviour go? "Horse Guidance" seems to be the logical one, although there might be an overlap with "Demos and Courses" in some cases. We'll just have to wait and see how things pan out.

I'm not sure! I think a training/behaviour section could be useful. It's always good to read peoples experiences and ideas. Now that the forum has changed, I think the anon posters will be much less and we can have serious discussions. I enjoy reading tips and ideas from posters. However, as Francis says, it is such a broad arena that some of the other sections could encompass these areas.
