Hi all, hope you are all coping with the change over !!
I have a freind who is looking for a donkey as a companian to her horse. She has an old pony at the moment but does not think that she will be able to see another winter so is looking for another companion. She cant seem to find a number for the donkey sanctuary anywhere and i was wondering if you could help.

Thanks Varkie, Just had alook at the site and they have suspended their rehoming at the mo. I will try a search on donkeys. Why i never thought of that to begin with i dont know.

You also can't have just one donkey from the donkey sanctury you have to have two-you have to do a coarse (not difficult) and you are inspected every three months,that's IF they let you have two.

I found the phone number for The Donkey Rescue, Scotland on the webbsite and have passed it on. I personaly would prefer a shetland to a donkey but i have never haad anything to do with donkeys so maybe i am biased a bit. I cant believe that i never thought of doing a webb search, my first thought was the dg cause you are allways so helpfull.
What would i do without my virtual friends ? lol
