This is purely on the off chance, but is there anybody out there in the Berks/Bucks/Thames Valley area who would be prepared to let me try out a treeless saddle (any kind?).
I have never ridden in one before, so would like to try the various types out for feel etc. Also, I'm an Equine Bowen Therapist, and as part of my ongoing learning (which never stops when it comes to horses) I would really like to increase my knowledge about treeless saddles. So many of the back problems that I treat are caused by badly fitting saddles (which I shouldn't really have to tell IHDG type people), however, it would be great for me to know more about treeless saddles as at the moment my knowledge is rather biased towards traditional saddles.
Finally, if it turned out that I liked any particular kind of treeless saddle, I may even consider buying one, as I have a five year old Arab who is so wide across the wither that I am having real problems finding a saddle to fit him. I am on the waiting list for a Reactorpanel, but that could take months, and there's not much left of the summer for me to continue bringing on this youngster (who had just begun his very first canter work when we withdrew him from work due to poor saddle fit).
So, if there's anyone out there who would be prepared to let my try out their treeless saddle, I would be really grateful.
Sam
