Been asked to try this by our local feed/bedding supplier as they've just got it in. Haven't tried it yet, but wondered does anyone use it and is it any good? Am currently on Hemcore and love it, but this bedding is cheaper.

Hi.... Yes,...I've been using NB Pro for over 12 months now and I'm extremely happy with it. In fact,..when I moved yards earlier this year and unloaded my bedding, there was alot of interest in my bales as they came out of the trailer!!! Suffice to say,...all but a couple of the liverys now use either NB Original, or NB Pro. It's great as Nick delivers to the yard in bulk, so we never run out. I love it.... but try it out for yourself,...I don't think you'll be disappointed.... I wasn't!

Hi Amber, thanks for replying! Do you do a full muck out each day or pick the poo off daily then do the wet bits at the weekend? It says on their website you can do either, and on hemp I poo pick daily then wet bits at weekend and it works brill, so don't want to change off this system really, but is the Pro bedding really ok to do this? Thanks!

Absolutely!!! You can keep to the same system as you do now, so they'll be no more work for you!! I do deep litter in Winter,...but once every six weeks or so, when I'm feeling like I've alot of energy!!... I do a full muck out (but don't touch my bankings) and start again. In Winter I use two bales a week on average, although he does play out during the winter, he's in alot more and sometimes in all day because the fields are just too wet...In summertime I'm lucky if I put a bale down once a fortnight..he does go out overnight in Summer though, so he's only in for a few hours during the day to keep him out of the sun and stop him from putting too much weight on! He mainly uses his time in during the summer to sleep actually!
