Just Read on another post that you can possibly trace through passports? Ive been desperatly searching for my pony since the day after I Sold him in 2001, We sold him to a lady for her neice, Turns out she didnt have a neice and he was gone within 2 weeks, She was a dealer Breaks my heart how easily we got conned but at the time it was circumstances with my family and we needed to sell, We sold him cheap as it was meant to be a perfect home His name was blue he was a 13.1 - 13.2 dappled grey NF ( looked much more welshey) and his freezermark is 97UB, He was sold to send Surrey ( Im not publicly naming the dealer ) Anyone any ideas Hwo i can go about tracing through a passport? Or any other bright ideas? Hes on a lot of websites I just want to know hes ok He would be about 16 or 17 now

Couldn't you try the company who freeze marked him - the new owners may have registered

A girl that used to be at my yard had a pony that vaguely fits this description except the age, he was a fair bit younger but that may have been incorrect. She bought him in jan02 and I'm quite sure she bought him from a dealer. His name was Blue Charm but she changed it to shaka. sorry if I've got your hopes up unnecessarily. some pics of him: community.webshots.com/album/309526129iJtHIW

I know Shaka ( the girl) used to compete against her alot, Not the same pony Sadly. She sold her Shaka last year, Before she moved, But thank you all for that thought

It was me that suggested passports on another thread It was just an idea of ringing through all the passport societies seeing if a pony matching description/freezemark was registered. I cant be any real help, just a thought really!!

if you have a photo of him why not try the tracing horses section in 'your horse', horse and hound etc., may be worth a shot.
