Ah, my YO will be gutted, you're not that far from us! She's been peering out her window all day moaning about the sun... Personally, I can do quite happily without snow.

We had a lot of snow today, it was freezing, me and some friends went out for a hack and ended up getting caught in a bit of a blizzard!!! Forgot the camera though! There could have been some lovely photos of the scenery but I really do have a memory like a seive lol! Your pics are lovely!

We have had tons of snow here today. Girl on the yard and I went down into the village in her car and went into a really nasty skid, if it had happened a few yards further on we would have ended up in a deep ditch, luckily we hit a grass bank but still scary. Bloody council had not been gritting, and it is a notorious accident blackspot

Lovely Lovely piccys..... Although we have had a good covering it has been nothing like in your piccys.
We didn't go out on a hack as the roads we have to go on before we get to the bridle paths were very icy.... instead we played gymkhana games on the field in the snow. The ponies thoughly loved it!! No piccys though as I was too busy putting jumps and obstacle courses back into place!!!!

We've not had much, just an inch or so but I fell over on the yard because of the ice under the snow so didn't want to risk riding William. We did clicker training instead.
When I lived in the north-east of Scotland I used to get snowed in a couple of times a year due to drifting. I would walk a 7 mile round trip to put William and another livery's horse out in the morning - the other livery would do the evening shift. I don't expect we'll have snow like that down here.
