I had Stanley from almost a year old. I was told he'd been taken off the moutains in Wales from his mum when he was just 4 months old. We had him to put with another yearling and broke him for riding at 4. He turned out to have the most amazing jump and was extremely whizzy - much too responsive for a small child. We eventually broke him to harness and he was amazing. I had borrowed a little exercise cart and sold him as a driving pony to a lady between Stoke on Trent and Uttoxeter as he was not suitable for my small daughter. I heard some time later that this lady had sold him on to a large man in or near to Buxton where he'd bolted in the cart. I haven't been able to find out any more, although you are probably talking about 8 - 9 years ago now. I'd love to know where he went or where he is now.
He had a fluffy mane and white blaze I think but no other markings. He was a paleish chestnut. He was also a pain to catch sometimes.
