Firstly Happy New Year.
Does anyone live in the North parts of Britain/England and have or planning to get to a course?
Why do they all have to be so far away for me. :( My mum and dad were wanting to pay for one or two for me to attend but seen as they are so far away, I would have to stop nearby.
Is anyone going to attend any this year and if so which one and are they stopping there nearby?
Does anyone live up the north end of this country and want to go to a course? If they do, would anyone want to go to one with me? ::)

Hi Melissa, most people doing the IH courses do stay overnight. The IH office sends out a list of suggested accomodation when you pay the deposit. Often a group of people go to the pub for supper, it's a great way to get to know the participants better, infact I usually stay even though I only live about 90 mins away. I have met several people from "up north", and further away such as Ireland, Spain, France etc

Hi Melissa, Give Brenda a ring on 01488 71300 and she might be able to look at for a Northern friend for you! Hope to see you on a course one day! Kelly

When you say "up north", how far are you talking? I live on the North Wales/Cheshire border and I'm doing the untouched course this month. I've done other courses and nearly everyone stops over, not everyone gets together in the evenings though, my family come with me in the campervan so other commitments prevent me from being sociable! Don't be nervous you won't be able to concentrate. Everyone is friendly and the courses are definitely worth it! Good luck.
