Hey Ally I think we should have that photo of you and Lorraine and the boys in the Listening Post - what a nice update! Do you know I think you and L are the oldest DGers! As in been on longest of course. Lorraine I've still got my 'Flame and Kelly' rosette hanging in my office - how long ago did I 'win' that? That was through the DG wasn't it? Kx

No, Ally is much older than me Kelly !!!!
We lost Flame 7 years ago now and it was through the very first board that you kindly sponsored our Memorial Ride for Laminitis research. We first met at the Chichester demo when i proudly presented you with the rosette !! Its lovely to know that it still hangs on your wall.

Wooohooo! Am I glad to see pics of Manny and read his wonderful writing again! Lovely to come back here and find this post. And thanks for the little recap too. 5 years... so many memories. Back then, I was mainly a lurker on the DG - think I've been here since before I got Toons in November 2000 - but I did follow closely Manny's story.
Got to tell you though Manny, I do agree with Ally that horses should not have fat pads. Bad, bad for you! And that means you can't get as much food as you'd like. Sorry man. On the other hand, I'm not sure about mares... Toons says that they're good exercise as he's a bit of a ladies' man like you.
