Manny as ever you write wonderfully! I wish your mum could write as well as we are still awaiting that best seller, shove over Lukie, i thought of it first, you can go on the back cover! hehe! I hope mummy gave you some nice treats for christmas to make up for starving you? Actually i think she must be doing something right because you and Mattie look wonderful and you still have that glint in your Spanish eyes, im surprised you didnt sing that when you were flying high! LOL! Keep up the good work Ally, you and the boy were made for each other. love eileen xxxx

Oh Medallion Man Manny, it's always lovely to hear from you, you always make me laugh. Maybe you should start a DG appeal for food and mare parcels!!!!
Sarah, Manny is rather special to put it mildly, a fellow DG'er was in Spain and found Manny in a riding school, he was horribly lame (was it in all legs Ally?), he was either worked very hard with his head strapped down to stop him nodding (he was so lame) and tied up on concrete, as I remember all his spark had gone out of him, he was totally switched off.
His story was told on the DG and we clubbed together to buy him and bring him on, Ally was wonderful and offered herself as Manny's nursemaid/guardian/stallion handler/waitress/therapist, and she has worked wonders.

My god Ally, where have you put the rest of him?! LOL, he's gone down a few trouser sizes, hasn't he? But as you say, surely still got plenty in the trouser dept in other regards - does he really roar from the top of the muck heap?
Lovely to see that huge warm glow in his eyes - he really does adore you.
MTA - I need you to talk me out of a few horse acquisitions, by the way. They're starting to line themselves up!

He writes well for a horse - although I do have to spell check his work!! Yes`Roz, he was lame on all four legs, had weeping open saddle sores, a big wound on his forehead, and amonia burns on his back legs from where the wee had repeatedly splashed him. He was terrified of everything. But his spririt is strong, and he just knows what a wonderful horse he is.
Sooo pleased the weight loss is clear - he's a hard horse to keep from ballooning!!
Jane - I'm the last person to talk you out of having horses - I say go with your gut instinct and when the right one comes along you'll just know!!
I'll try and get some full frame shots of the boy. He loves the camera, and always turns to face it, so I need someone to hold him side on while I take one!!

Right, I've taken a couple more photo's of the mud monster, and if Lorraine again works her magic, you'll see the boy side on as requested. Note the stallion crest! Yes Jane, he does climb the muck heap to raor at the stallion. Sadly the stallion reacts often by rearing vertical. Manny present a real challenge to him. Please excuse the mud. The rest of the field isn't bad, but I am depressed by how soggy it is around the stables. The piccies show the boys as they came in - before grooming!
