Ride this hoilday? I started out with all good intentions then Kizzy decided to have a divvy fit at the horse in the next field and reared and landed on the fence taking the skin off her front off leg - ouch. Then that healed and she lost a shoe, got the shoe put back on on Wednesday and hey presto Kizzy goes for a wander through the fence and now she has a rear off like and elephant! Anyone else have an accident prone animal? It just seems like we get over one thing and another crops up - banging my head against a brick wall me thinks! A grand total of 0 rides this holdiay!

I've ridden Autumn 3 times (including xmas day), and Dolce twice - got up today and rode in glorious sunshine before the weather turned bad! also did ground work with D yesterday, and lunged her on xmas eve. so far have done something with one of them every day so very happy. wish the weather would improve though :0(

I've ridden every day except xmas day, which is more than I usually do during this holiday.
It's been great, I've moved to a new place and the riding is fab. I've also kept up my lessons during the hols and fingers crossed, it's been great for us both.
My hubby is also off, so he's been on childcare duties. He's such a gem!

Twice I had planned on riding every day but she escaped from her field, jumped and got tangled in a gate, hit the ground and needed time off and Bowen to set her right and I've managed 2 rides this week. Hopefully manage some more next week (I don't go back to work until the 8th).

None! But as my horse hasn't been backed yet, that's not terribly surprising, really...
I'm looking forward to riding him in a few months' time....
