GGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rant required!!!! i am currently fuming and my blood is boiling!!! A Tesco Van just drove up my road, unmade, private, Speed limit of 8miles per hour. There is less than 200yards of road and he must have hit 30/40!!!!! even virtually took off over speed humps!! How f***ing irresponsible!!!! I shouted over that he should slow down as it is residential and there are children and animals, he shrugged his shoulders at me and said whatever (nasty nasty!!!) I said that i would have to report him. I just phoned Tesco at Riverhead and said i wanted to complain about a driver, gave them the reg as the van was still parked outside a neighbours house(you could hear the guy at the other end of the phone almost cursing under his breath that the reg plate was one of theirs) He said he would speak to the driver on his return, i think he realised how properly p***ed of i was!! And just as though to make a point the anally retarded van driver just turned round and drove back out the road in the manner in which he had driven in as though to make a point!!!! BAR STEWARDS!!!! Why do people have such a lack of respect??!! Rant over.

I have to say that most Tesco drivers I've seen drive like this - have yet to see one driving at a 'normal' speed! They just couldn't care less. I hope this driver gets spoken to, however I suspect it won't make much difference! I sympathise with you totally, more and more people are like this today

I followed a tesco driver about 6 miles down an 'a' road, speed limit I think 60, and he was happily driving about 30mph! It was so annoying!

Perhaps there may be some justice after all Flic. Imagine, if by doing that speed over the speed bumps, your neighbour ends up with Milk and Orange Juice swimming around in the carrier bags ...... eggs, broken and scrambled .... soggy kitchen and toilet rolls from soaking up said milk and juice ..... squashed bread from falling potatoes ... ( blimey, what an imagination I have ! ) Anyway, the guy is obviously a complete prat but it might make him think twice if Tesco have to replace all of her groceries ?

You did the best thing by reporting him. He will be spoken to no doubt, how strongly though I don't know. Who knows, you may be one in a long list of callers about him! Ring them back, and find out if he has been spoken to. It may show just how serious you are. Or how about if you go to the store, and talk to him face to face?

Lets hope he gets a really good talking too. Thank goodness there weren't any animals or children around at the time.

How irritating! I hope they actually say something to him. I think the ones round me have the vans without indicators, or no one has showed them where the indicator stick is. I followed one the other day that suddenly pulled over and stopped, no warning, signal or anything. Soooooooo annoying!! They always stop in the most ridiculous places as well.
