Situation at home is changing and pony keeping is not going to be easy in the new year financially, one will be a struggle, two no chance. Luka was last one in so has to be first out and also he is young, fit, well bred and useful, unlike Sham who is slightly decrepid and promised a home for life. Anyway, will post ads initially on the shetland sites ( three of which I can think) then probably horsemart etc too. So not sure at the moment how many photos I will be able to use on any of them. Anywhere between one and three I should think, so I have selected the best I can find of head shots, side on confo shots and ridden. Could I have some advice please on which are the best of each? So assuming I can use three photos I would have one of each, but if I can only use two or one, which would you use? a head shot only? side on? ridden? or head and ridden? head and side? If you get my drift Thanks in advance head one : head two: head three: ridden one: ridden two: confo one: confo two:

I'd have the first ridden one definately, then the side on one without the resting leg, then a head shot (depending on how many you're allowed)
Ridden pics show that the pony can do what you'r saying, and most people want to see the whole horse in an advert.

So sorry you're having to consider selling him - he's such a smashing pony! Couldn't you loan him out for a few months until you're back on your feet?
As to the photos, I like Head 2, Ridden 1 and Confo 1. But I'd be inclined to get some more side on shots on plain backgrounds.

Hi, I would say the same as above.
Good luck in selling your baby, I am sure you will find a good home.

In order ridden 1, confo 1 & head 2.
Like Chloe I'd try to get a few good conformation pics with a plain background, or at least carefully edit out Shamrock's head (sorry Shamrock!) & the open metal railings. Also I don't know how you're advertising him but it may be worth getting a photo with a child on him as shetlands are often used for children.

i like head 2, makes him look kinder...confo 2 although he is resting , it makes him appear chilled out...and ridden 1, ditto naria, about getting pic with a child on board...nice looking pony, you shouldnt have any problems selling him, but such a shame you have to.you have obviously given thought to loaning etc...whatever you decide best of luck, must be really hard..
