Thor's shoes are off. He has perfect feet. I haven't taken him anywhere except to his field but he walked on the stoney path for 10 yards with no bother!

I am thinking of moving him, to my friend's at Long Preston. I hate to move him again so quickly (although not making a decision until Feb) but I so love the riding there, no roads at all if you don't want them! Nice quiet horses to ride out with. A lonely coloured cob gelding that needs company. How far do they travel?

It takes 40 minutes...I haven't made my mind up. It is just that the riding is so safe! And my friends are there. And there is a nice quiet cob needing company. It's just such a long way as you say. I don't know what to do for the best to be honest!!

YO took her horse out and Thor was demented. He has become so attached now. I have told YO that I am taking him for a week, but will probably keep him there if it all goes well. If not I shall bring him home and get a companion for him. I will just have to load him, next problem!!

I probably could do with some help Jen. I could pay you of course. The trouble is that he wouldn't load when I picked him up and as he is at someone else's place, there is nowhere to practise and get him feeling comfortable. He is also so attached to Rose, that will cause extra problems. (she wouldn't box) He went in with brute force in the end, ie the owner,s strong boyfriend just not letting go. OH isn't confident around horses so he couldn't do that. It is a long journey, about an hour at box speed from Oxenhope to Long Preston. How much would you charge? Do you think you could help?

Oh thanks Jen. I will contact them at Long Preston about his new home and arrange it. I am so nervous taking him on the road now, I feel like we both need more time in a safe place to get to know each other. He doesn't feel like my pony yet!
