For the last 2 weeks dinner has been ready to eat when my OH gets home from work. Casseroles, mexican, curries, all the stuff he likes. Every single meal has been met with some sort of complaint. Didnt fancy it really...... the lambs really tough isnt it? Didnt we have this a few weeks ago? What a miserable poo head! I have had enough! The last straw was just now. He made himself a coffee, left the coffee on the table and when toddler grabed it on the floor what did he say? Why werent you watching him? You let him do whatever he wants! He is usually quite a nice OH really but he has been pushing the wrong buttons for 2 weeks now. I have had enough. I officially on strike! Lets see how he likes it tomorrow when he comes home hungry and has to cook for himself shall we?! ;D

Go girl go. You say he is usually quite nice so perhaps your OH is worried about work or has other probs that he isnt opening up about. Do know how you feel though. I have been with my OH for 42 years and had to do one or two things to bring him into line lol. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks gwenoakes! Just after i posted this thread he really finished me off! Earlier i had slaved over a chicken Jalfreezi - i hate it but its his favourite. As i finished posting i dished it up. He took one mouthful and said ' really nice babe - bit too MUCH tomato though!' ARRRRGH!

LOL Lucy, I should tell him to do his own cooking from now on then. How the Jalfrezi did not end up on his head beats me LOL

A Woman's Poem He didn't like the casserole And he didn't like my cake. My biscuits were too hard... Not like his mother used to make. I didn't perk the coffee right He didn't like the stew, I didn't mend his socks The way his mother used to do. I pondered for an answer I was looking for a clue. Then I turned around and smacked him... Like his Mother used to do.

I am so lucky, my hubby eats anything I put in front of him and says 'that's lovely!' even if its toast LOL!!!!! He would never cook for me but neither does he complain, so I'm not complaining either!

My OH is exactly the same so I stopped cooking totally, he's now so glad when I do cook that he never says a word.
