We are hopefully having a BBQ this Saturday - weather permitting. We have the usual types of food, sausages, burgers, chicken, steak, King prawns. What do you usually provide at your BBQ or what have you had at one that was really nice. We also have some vegetarians coming so any good ideas what to provide for them would be great. We have about 13 kids coming ranging from 1 year to 11 years old. We dont have children so ideas for keeping them entertained would be welcome. Thanks

for food i always do tuna pasta salad and the dolmio stir in sauces with pasta twists (especially the sweet pepper one) are nice when cold and some chili is nice when it gets cold later on. Also part bake things in the oven to save time. plenty of booze is a good idea and if there are any little kids a supply of dvds for when they get tired hope this helps ooh also a karoke machine great when everyone is drunk

I'm a veggie and tend to eat Quorn burgers and sausages at BBQs, but I am very fussy that they are cooked on a clean, non-meat corner, don't want meat fat and juices all over my veggie burgers, lol! Also must use separate utensils, pain, I know, but I tend to get mine cooked early on and only have a couple of burgers, and then let the meat-eaters take over the whole BBQ! A nice salad is also good to snack on.
