:'(my hubby has vertigo and it looks like its going to be a permenant thing, does anyone know anything about it? Does anyone else get it? Can you still ride? I dont know what im going to do with his horse im to nervous to ride her

its a ver y unpredictable illness and sufferers can get very different presentations of the illness. some can be laid up for weeks then never get another attack, some can go months or years between attacks, some get it mild, some frequent, some infrequent.
Sorry not very helpful but if its early days best see how it goes and talk to the G.P about it more, watch to see if any pattern develops or not.

I get it mild and still ride. My Mum gets very bad attacks of it. When she went to see someone about it I'm sure they told her that riding is good for it.

Its not a recent thing its been going on for about a year. Hes improved alot but they dont even know whats causing it.
