Hello all!I did a weigh in for myself this morning and I'm under the 17 stone mark!!!!!!! ;D 16.13!!!! Yippee! Lots more to go though, so I've given myself a target of 16.7 in 4 weeks time! I had been weighing myself every Monday, but had to miss the last 2 out due to having to go away. I've been trying to listen to the Paul McKenna CD at least twice a day, which was kindly sent to me, (big thanks Staffsmum), but I'm not sure if your supposed to be snoring while listening!! LOL! I'm going on hols a week on Saturday, so I will be expecting a little weight gain! How's everyone else doing??

Thanks Staffsmum! I can't go to the gym, because I have a slipped disc, or something wrong spine wise anyway. I have to settle for walking, but sometimes I'm in agony when I rest after. Good days, bad days! Hey Ho! I haven't really noticed clothes getting looser, but then they were probably to their limit before anyway! I do feel more unconcerned about food. And it's a lovely feeling to wake up hungry! Good Luck Staffsmum!

Well Done Sobagirl! Walking is fantastic. You don't often get something so good for free. I started walking with a motivated friend - 6km every morning, hell or highwater! - and it made a huge difference. I got so much energy and started feeling muscles instead of the wobbles.
Keep up the good work and congratulations again.

Well done sobagirld.
I remember I was part of a weighing club on the old DG last year. Have managed to loose a stone since then but still need to loose another 2, my ultimate aim being 10 stone. Am back at it: lots of going back and forth the fields as exercice and cutting everything I eat in half and not allowing additives (extra sugar or fat) is what worked last autumn.

Welcome anyone who wants to be here! I thought it would be good to have a bit of support, and any hints/tips. I feel like I'm doing well, but I am not expecting it to go well all the time. I feel really positive this time, and have surprised my family by actually sticking to it! I was the same when I finally gave up smoking. Every time a took a drag, I'd feel really guilty towards myself. Made half-hearted attempts, then one day, thought this is it, it's time!
It's the same with my weight. One day I just thought, this is it, but it's taken quite a few years to get here!
If your having a bad day, and think you can't carry on with healthier eating, come on here first, and let's see if we can get your motivation back!
Good luck everyone! And thankyou all for replying!

Sobagirl - at least Paul McKenna is sending you to sleep not to the biscuit tin LOL I've recently lost 2.5 stone and managed to keep it off - feel much better for it and you will too! Well done for your weight loss so far. I still want to lose another stone but don't know what my ideal weight is My problem is that although I can lose it it goes off everywhere I'm not bothered about buy not my bum and thighs!

Well done all of you - I lost two stone on last year's group - and have managed to keep it off. I'm not a skelf, but do feel a lot fitter. I'm actually trying to lose four more pounds before my daughter's wedding in September. I find the key is soup - a soup based on vegetables, usually pureed, which I can eat when I feel hungry, too hungry to keep going with nothing!
