Just wondered what people thought about the ones advertised on the edge of this board e.g.
C-Trim (formerly Metaboost) HOODIA Phase 2 Chitosan
I know the experts say they dont work but how come they are allowed to advertise?
Any opinions?

i have to say that im a big sceptic and cant see how they would work...i think the best (only) way of loosing weight is by eating less and exercising more...that worked for me.

prescription pills from the doctor can only be prescribed for a year? I just think that if they are worried about the effects after 12 months they must have done some harm to you in the 1st 12 months as well? scary?
better to find out if you have a medical problem like PCOS or Thyroid and then get a support network (family, friends or a club) and work at it as a life time change of attitiude

Slimming pills DON'T work - just a rip off! Tried a few in desperation, and just wasted money!

I've tried for years to lose weight, the only thing that has ever worked long term for me is a sensible (not boring) low fat diet and slightly more exercise ... pills will only work for as long as you take them, you have to change your eating habits permanently if you wanna keep the weight off.

appetite suppressent pills can work but a doctor needs to be involved and they are really for people who are very overweight. De-tox type teas can help but really eating a healthy diet and exercise is the key

No, sadly there is no quick fix, except maybe liposuction but eeewh & owww . Try this link. www.csiro.com.au/proprietaryDocuments/MLA_diet.pdf This is a really healthy diet developed by the CSIRO in Australia. The CSIRO is a government agency so the diet is developed by nutrition experts not as a money making scam.
