Under new DG rules, I can't post the text here as it's copyrighted. Anyway, the link is www.susanjeffers.com/home/article.cfmStay Hungry, Stay foolish (it's not written by VBM, honest...well, I don't think so....)

God! Gulp, brought a tear towards my eye near the end, how brave, how lucky, how very inspirational.

You mean you have not read the book "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" ? Ah, what a treat in store for you. Get it! It's a great little book! I think Amazon do it for about £6.

First thing in the morning, when I have a tough meeting fast approaching today it helped to put the whole thing into perspective
"Don't settle" that speaks volumes for a very simple phrase.
Thank you

I haven`t read the book!! Someone quoted this line at me when I was getting back in the saddle after a bad accident and it just really hit me! It`s kind of like a mantra that I say to myself before just about everything that I don`t fancy doing! I`ll away to get the book then! Polly

Just to clarify that the speech isn't by Susan Jeffers, however her Feel the Fear & Do It Anyway book IS great! The speech was given by Steve Jobs (Apple computers/Pixar Animation).
Great site to investigate though!

Good link Wendy. Susan Jeffers has written soem exceelent books and her tapes / CD meditations are worth listening too as well if you are seeking some inspiration. If you don't want to buy them your local library may be able to help.

Hi Louise, yes I agree, the Susan Jeffers stuff is great and I like Louise Hay too. I have a really good CD of Louise Hay's called "I Can Do It". Whenever I felt my courage or strength deserting me, I used these a lot to help me focus on thinking positively. I even have Post-It notes around my house with positive affirmations written on them. Good idea to have a look in the local library, although most of these are available for less than a tenner.
