Kia ora, I'm a 17 year old from a little town in a place called New Zealand. I live about 2 hours north of Wellington (Go Canes!) and 15 minutes west of Levin. I currently have two horses, my semi-retired ex pony eventer named Sparky (Sparks Will Fly) who is 25+ and retired from eventing in 2006 after her arthritic knees started playing up. The other is my gelding. He's a bit of an odd one, he's 15hh (just), a 13 year old Anglo-Arab named Tally (Retaliate). He has oodles of talent but an attitude to go along with it. We're currently going back to basics as he's having trouble with his arthritic hocks and exploded last time I took him out with some very impressive rears. About me...I'm in my last year of college (high school in the US) and am a bit of a science nut. I love blowing things up. I read a lot and watch way too much TV. My family also has four cats, two dogs, two Highland cows, 6 roosters, 15 hens and a few fish. The ponies: Sparky Tally

Hello, welcome to the DG. Your horses look gorgeous, the photo of you and Tally on the beach looks as it it ends up with a big buck from Tally! What fantastic photos of the scenery too, that last photograph is brilliant.

Lovely to have some Kiwi's on the board, I'm now very jealous of your set up Claire, you photos bring back memories of how beautifully clear the atmosphere is in NZ, I remember being able to see for miles, never quite as clear here in the UK!
