Blue told me it is terribly rude to go butting into a herd without properly introducing yourself so here we are.
I'm Alison and my horse True Blue (better known as Blue Blue) is a 16.1hh 3/4 ID, I suspect the other 1/4 is arab. We've been together since she was 4 and she's now 13. She's been barefoot for nearly a year.
I love being able to talk to people who don't disapprove of my methods (most of the time so far anyway). However I have arrived at my 'natural' methods by following my own and Blue's instincts and my unstoppable questioning nature (you will probably experience this). I hadn't even heard about this natural horsemanship until fairly recently. We have used Parelli, TTeam, Monty's, Michael Peace's systems and have basically come up with our own that suits us.
We have done showing, jumping and dressage in the past but never particularly liked any of it despite doing quite well and now Blue has bone spavin and we had a nasty jumping accident a few years ago. What we really love is TREC and going on holiday together.

Hi Alison! We have already spoken on a thread you put up, but i thought id just reply to your introductory message anyway... welcome aboard! Mostly people will be really friendly, helpful & leave onstructive messages, though sometimes things get a littlwe heated, but i guess that helps make it more interesting?..! Be warned though, this site fast becomes addictive! Kaleigh xx
