Cricketers is lovely and The Plough at Upper Dicker is okay now. Horseshoe is a bit loud! Failing that The Brewers in my village is good as is the pub at Wartling or.... etc etc so many pubs!! How about we all say when and where we are coming from then we can pick best place. I can do any evening next week except wed and friday (must be nice to OH). Following week, any evening. I'm in Herstmonceux but can travel.

Hi,
I am in Sussex too, west sussex, Lancing, does anyone know it?? I have a 16.2 warmblood called Pie. I went to the demo at Hadlow college, it was amazing, i wish i could work like that with Pie! I got the halter and that has made such a difference, still got some work todo. Its hard for me as my yard is very tradtional, it would be good to know people in the area that are practising the same stuff!!!!

Hiya, I'm on Surrey/West Sussex borders in Charlwood nr Gatwick. Very few IH yards around i'm afraid. The people at my yard aren't exactly IH minded but some of them have become very interested and none laugh at me when they see me hacking out in my dually, treeless saddle and wip-wop!!

Another East Sussex person - Battle. Have one TB, 2 aged children and a horse-friendly (but bike-mad) OH. Marigold, Lucy2 and I met up in Horsebridge last week and talked enough for all of you I think! Didn't realise so many of us were so close.
Lucy2 - it was Brimstone (and then Fantasy) that gave Jodie tons of confidence in Wales but she remembers Duchess too. She was shocked by the Crackers story - haven't yet told Ricky, he's in France with his Dad testing the race bike for next season.

Razzle great to know you're not miles away! Such a shame your girl didn't turn out to be what you thought - don't worry we've all been there. Did you buy her privately? Once the weather warms up we'll have to get together as there are plenty of nice pubs between me and you. PM me if you want to talk about your cob - sometimes it nicer to get things off your chest so to speak and be able to have a moan without being open on the board. x
